COSCO and Fratelli Cosulich acquire Italy-based logistics company

COSCOS, the joint venture between the Chinese shipping giant COSCO Shipping and Italian shipping group Fratelli Cosulich, has acquired Novara-based logistics company Trasgo.

Trasgo holds an important position worldwide in integrated logistics, providing a diverse range of services such as transportation, warehousing, customs operations, cargo handling, trade fair logistics, and direct warehouse management at customer facilities. Originating in Novara, Italy, in 1981, the company initially focussed on independent transport activities.

Throughout its evolution, the firm has expanded its footprint, establishing new offices, and continuously innovating its service offerings to align with industry developments. Currently, it boasts 14 warehouse facilities, encompassing almost 300,000 square meters of capabilities, supported by a fleet of over 320 trucks and handling units.

Italy-headquartered Trasgo delivers a comprehensive suite of solutions across various sectors, including industrial, promotional, technology, and e-commerce logistics. Its transportation services cover national and international routes, incorporating air, sea, and land transport options.
